Iorek Byrinson's Armor

When Iorek speaks of replacing his Sky Iron armor with the rust metals he bends and weaves, he says that it's like replacing Lyra's daemon Pantalaimon with a doll. This shows that another theme is that anything that is lifeless, without meaning, nor love is something that is worthless or insignificant.

(Note: In the book version, Lyra isn't with Lee Scoresby when going to see Iorek Byrinson at the Metal Shop in order to convince him to join them in the war.)

THEME:

There are always the people who wish for you to get hurt, to be injured. It's better to hope and cope with all the obstacles in life. There is purpose in life and decisions that you have to make and obstacles that help you to grow to become who you truly are in life. The only way to find the greatest meaning of life is living it for yourself to find out and others as well. With Lyra in The Golden Compass, more than the use of alethiometer, her soul succeeds others in the ways of having courage. In the book she says that if she were an imaginative person, that she would have only felt that everything she tried to do only as a dream, something unreachable. She did save all of the children the gobblers tried to sever and succeeded. It shows sometimes that imagination sometimes gets in the way due to how if we don't think realistically sometimes, we end up thinking that things are unreachable or worry. Thinking that things are unreachable or worrying is a misuse of the imagination.

I miss..

how things used to be, when we all trusted each other. As you grow up, you experience things that test your loyalty, love, & respect for people and you learn that most people aren't worth the effort but yet you strive to keep them happy because you fear loneliness. You start to realize that life doesn't get any better than the few you surround yourself with & that others will never change no matter how much you do for them. You learn to appreciate those that are still there striving to build although there isn't need. From these people, materials aren't needed. Seeing them happy makes you content knowing that you've done all you could and they love you for every effort you make.

My mother, who I hate. She tried to hurt me and Pantalaimon, killing those poor kids. They.. Had their daemons taken away from them. It was horrible.

Introducing : Friends

Iorek Byrinson is so brave and fierce, he helped me when trying to find the 'ghost child' or 'severed child' who turned out to be my friend I used to play with back at Jordan College, Billy Acosta.



Serafina Pekkala is one of the Witches of the North, and has always usually helped me, especially her daemon when getting the severed daemons to escape. She has always been a great friend and acknowledged me as not just a child or kid like the other adults.



Lord Asriel who happens to be my father now, has always been there for me. I used to call him Uncle Asriel and I had thought that my parents died. Father. : ))



Farder Corram, Ma Acosta, and John Faa. The Egyptians are very friendly, they took care of me during the voyage to The North and saved me from the kidnappers.



Roger, he's my best friend and one of the kitchen workers of the Jordan College. We are always usually exploring the roofs or undergrounds of Jordan College, down below.

Pansborne Bears & Pantalaimon

(Pantalaimon is really cute, he's my daemon. Shh! But don't tell him I said that! Tell no one! This sailor of the egyptians told me once that all daemons settle, but I'd never want to settle! I want to stay with Pan forever. He's so dear to my heart!)



The bears were very fierce and terrifying, but as Iorek once said, "I will master my fear."... And so did I.

Hey you!

Pantalaimon and me have always loved the color snow white, it's the same color of Iorek Byrinson. And the sleek color of the ocean waters. It's very beautiful, sort of the same as the seas the Egyptians sail on in their ships. Hey, but I think my personality is a bit different, don't you think? I've been told from many people or Egyptian sailors.. That I'm spunky, wild, and never do what the adults tell me so. Adults are stupid these days sometimes, but some I respect for the smart ones like Farder Coram. His daemon is beautiful, but I dare not touch him. It's FORBIDDEN to touch other people's daemons, it's like violating.. Believe me, I've felt it before. It was horrible, those Gobblers.. Oh.. If I write anymore about that, I can't take it. What they did, but now everything is better. We saved all of the children. We saved them.. Pantalaimon, everyone was proud. I was proud of myself.
